01

The operations overview introduces the rental and damage workflow in an unpopulated workspace.

01 /THE BUSINESS PROBLEM

A damage case is a sequence of connected tasks.

Rental damage work brings together vehicle condition, evidence, customer follow-up and insurance information. A useful system needs to give those tasks clear places while keeping them connected to the case they belong to.

MY APPROACH

Give complexity a process.

I built VFlows Rental around an operations overview and dedicated areas for rentals, damage cases, vehicle history, inspections, insurance claims and recovery. The interface separates everyday operational tasks while keeping the wider case workflow visible.

02 /THE THINKING BEHIND THE WORK

Different decisions.
One connected approach.

01

Keep the case at the center.

Damage cases provide the organizing context for the surrounding work. Inspections, claims and recovery have dedicated areas instead of being presented as unrelated tasks.

02

Give condition capture its own workspace.

The inspections area introduces guided return, drop-off and post-return workflows. Its interface makes vehicle condition and documentation a distinct stage of the operational process.

03

Make insurance work legible.

The claims area presents evidence completeness, insurer information, adjuster activity and settlement tracking as parts of the case workflow. The empty state directs a user to create the claim from the relevant damage case after reviewing evidence.

INSIDE THE WORK

The interface, in context.

03 /WHAT I DELIVERED
  • Rental and damage operations overview
  • Navigation connecting rentals, cases and vehicle history
  • Dedicated inspections workspace
  • Insurance and claims workspace
  • Case-oriented areas for charges and recovery
THE RESULT

A working structure for operational follow-through.

The result is a rental operations interface with clear places for condition capture and claim-related work. The portfolio captures show an unpopulated workspace, so the structure can be explored without exposing customer cases or inventing recovery results.
