01 /THE BUSINESS PROBLEM

Show the work and make the next step clear.

A roofing and exteriors website needs to communicate the kind of work the business does while helping a visitor find a relevant service or contact route. The archived design gives the business a visual introduction and places practical enquiry options directly in the first screen.

MY APPROACH

Let the visual context carry the introduction.

I designed and developed the earlier Sherak website shown in the supplied 2025 screenshot. Its first screen uses a large residential-roofing image, a restrained brand treatment and a short headline. Navigation introduces the services, service areas, projects and other business information.

02 /THE THINKING BEHIND THE WORK

Different decisions.
One connected approach.

01

Use imagery that immediately establishes the context.

The archived homepage fills the opening view with residential roofs. It makes the roofing context visible before a visitor begins reading detailed service information.

02

Give urgent and planned enquiries separate routes.

The saved design shows two prominent actions: emergency call response and an instant quote request. They reflect different reasons a visitor might need to contact a roofing business.

03

Preserve an accurate record of the work.

Sherak’s website has since been redesigned. This portfolio therefore uses the original screenshot supplied by me and identifies it as an archive, so the design being discussed is not confused with the current site.

03 /WHAT I DELIVERED
  • Earlier Sherak website design
  • Website development
  • Service and service-area navigation
  • Visible emergency and quote enquiry pathways
THE RESULT

A documented design from 2025.

The archived screenshot preserves the version I built and the first-screen decisions visible in it. It is a historical work sample, not a representation of Sherak’s current website or a claim about the performance of its present design.
